About:

In 2010, Luker Chocolate opted to have its own cocoa crops to help meet its demand for Cacao Fino de Aroma and to trigger social and environmental development in the areas it reached.  It was then that we bought 550 hectares of the Finca El Rosario in Necoclí, Antioquia, a municipality located on the Colombian Pacific coast.

These lands were traditionally used for livestock and later became our first cocoa forest and the largest cultivation of Fino de Aroma varieties in the country designed under an agroforestry system, allowing the return of different species of birds and animals.

Thanks to the change in land use (cattle ranching for cocoa), the number of formal jobs increased from 5 to 267, from less than 2 trees per hectare to 600,000 new trees.

This has generated a high economic, social and environmental impact on the communities surrounding the crop.

This is the vision of The Chocolate Dream, to create triple impact transformations using chocolate as a tool for change.
